Casey Hitt, a self-taught artist, has been drawing and painting since childhood uniting color and forms to portray images of the past and present. Casey’s passion for color, texture and found objects has developed his strong contemporary style expressed in mixed medium on canvas, paper and plexi glass.
Casey’s art has been recognized locally. D Magazine and the Fashion Industry Gallery (f.i.g.) held the first ever D Art Slam to showcase the largely unknown work of the best Dallas artists, and Casey was chosen as one of the finalists. Casey’s works have been commissioned by designers, collectors and galleries.
Casey is a native Texan and received his BFA from the University of North Texas where he majored in
Photography and Art History. Currently his works are exhibited exclusively at Dallas Frame & Gallery by Max.
