Maxine Sims
Owner

One of Max’s core beliefs is that everything and everyone has a story. In her life experiences and through her travels, Max has learned to appreciate different people, cultures and their crafts. But mostly, Max desires to listen and hear the story behind the artist or how an object was lovingly crafted. Every thing, every moment and every object is a priceless treasure. Today, Max is always on the hunt for that perfect find which tells a story and can be transformed into a fabulous, one–of–a kind piece of art.

Max received her BSN from Vanderbilt University and MBA from the University of Dallas. After completing her MBA, Max decided to combine her creative talents with her business acumen to create Dallas Frame & Gallery by Max. Like a butterfly, both Max and DFG have gone through a metamorphosis since its humble beginnings. Three locations and thousands of frames later, Dallas Frame & Gallery by Max is happily nestled into its new cocoon. Thanks to the support of her loving husband of 29 years, their two beautiful children and the Dallas community, Max continues to foster her passion for treasure seeking and framing priceless treasures.

Let Max’s creative eye, passion for artistic style and sense of personal service help you transform your fine treasures into wonderful works of art.

DFG proudly supports different community organizations, foundations and charities. The foundation dearest to Max is the scholarship fund in memory of her precious son, https://www.jesuitdallas.org/giving/endowments/the-conner-edward-maxwell-sims-endowment-fund

His 20 plus years experience in framing, combined with a BA in Photography from the University of North Texas, make him an exceptional frame designer. Casey is also a gifted and recognized modern artist himself, commissioned and collected by Dallas designers and clients. He is inspired by all things mid-century modern and can often be found seeking antiques in his hometown of Kaufman.
